STAYING AWAY IS NEVER OK
It is a legal requirement for all students to attend school every day and is fundamental to ensuring your child’s learning. We are committed to ensuring high levels of attendance for all students and work collaboratively with parents to make regular attendance a priority.
ADVISE THE SCHOOL OF ANY ABSENCES
If a student is absent, an authorised person, usually the parent/caregiver, must notify the school of the reason for the student’s absence as soon as practical. If a student is prevented from attending school due to illness, the principal is authorised by the School Education Act 1999 to request a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

If your child is reluctant or refuses to go to school, or is missing school without you knowing, there is support and help available by phoning us at the school.
